I suppose I should update every once in awhile. So here I am. I had great plans for my winter break, but you know...We plan, God Laughs. I spent 1/2 of my break on the couch with a strange illness. So other than that here's what has been going on with me. Sorry, no pictures...it's enough keeping everything together. 1. Ice Storm during finals week: Pro - a full extra day to finish research paper & study Con - a bunch of people staying with us (they were without power), playing games, watching movies, visiting...me studying 2. First week of break...sick! 3. Got well and had to cram all the things I had put off until the break into 2 days to be ready for the holidays! 4. Did a bunch of baking with my girls and my mom! 5. Wonderful holidays with all our families! 6. Got my grades!!! 4 A's and 1 B...woohoo! I had to brag. I hadn't done that well since...oh the 6th grade! (slacker) 7. Logan came to town a little early for the meeting. I don't know how exciting his time with us was, but we enjoyed him...especially McKenna! 8. Made a mad dash 2 1/2 day trip to Louisiana to see our friends down there. It was wonderful as always! 9. Made an even more mad dash back to OK and attended the last service of the NYM 10. 1:00 A.M. breakfast at David & Carisha's with a bunch of friends 11. New Years festivities at the Ayers...good times! 12. January 2nd...break over...begin intersession (full semester in 1 1/2 weeks) love it! 13. January 3rd 10th Anniversary...went to movies with Cherie, Misty, and kids (Marcus works nights) 14. January 4th Celebrate Anniversary at the Skirvin and an evening in Bricktown! 15. Only read 1/2 of one of the books on my list for the break...thats okay, I will get to the others! So that is what has been going on. I begin the regular spring semester in one week and am looking forward to it. My schedule is lighter than last semester and all but one of my classes are while the girls are at school or asleep. McKenna and I will be able to spend all Mondays & Wednesdays togther, plus I'll have every afternoon and evening with the girls...YEAH! Hope everyone is having a great year so far.
